Lemon Balm Foot Soaking Powder
Add 2 TBS of this foot soak to a basin of warm water and soak your tired, sore feet up 15-20 minutes. This is made of dried lemon balm, epsom salts, sea salt, and baking soda. I love the little natural specks of lemon balm peeking through the mix and it smells so good!

Contouring powder
To go hand in hand with my homemade highlighting contour cream, I made this homemade dark contouring powder with these ingredients from my kitchen. Cinnamon causes blood to come to the surface and may cause tingling and/or redness. These experiences may be reduced with use of a carrier oil. Use with caution, but I personally did not experience any discomfort using it directly on my face, so test before using.
I added cinnamon, nutmeg, and cocoa to a small amount of cornstarch to get my desired shade of dark contouring powder. You can put this is a compact case with little oil, but I used it as a loose powder with a brush.
Translucent powder
The small pink jar at the bottom of the picture is made with my homemade translucent powder. Using equal parts cornstarch and bentonite clay and a touch of cocoa powder, I made a translucent face powder. You can make this into a makeup compact with a few drops of oil, but I applied with a powder brush and it worked great!

Makeup Primer Spray
I am loving this new face primer I made! So simple with Milk of Magnesia and water! I added a little vitamin e oil. Mix together and spray immediately before putting on makeup. The primer allows the makeup to go on smooth and keeps it on longer.
Siri, the cat approves. (For the record, Siri was a cat long before she was a voice on the iPhone.)
"Dry" No-Shampoo Spray
This is a mixture of arrowroot powder, rubbing alcohol, water, and some lemongrass essential oil (to keep the bugs away!) I made it and used it for the first time today and love it. Smells great and my hair looked fresh! I sprayed just enough to dampen my hair, then combed the spray throughout.

Homemade colored lip balm
Before After (my lips feel so much softer!)
Made from shea butter, beeswax, and a colorant you might have in your cupboard. Any idea what it is?

Essential Oils
I have really been crazed about all things essential oil lately, even to the fact that I've started to attempt making my own. Right now, I have four types in the works and I'll be sure to let you know how they come out (including recipes if they work.) I have a lemon mint oil, chocolate mint oil, honeysuckle oil, and clove oil. It takes some time for the oil to absorb all the benefits from the plants, so I'm doing my best to be patient while the magic happens. At least I hope it's happening!
Things I've made recently from essential oils that I have not taken pictures of include a bug repellent and cuticle oil. The cuticle oil includes jojoba oil, vitamin E, sweet almond oil, grapeseed oil, peppermint oil, eucalyptus oil and grapefruit oil. Not only does it smell good, but using the small amount every day keeps your nails from peeling. A small bottle of it lasts forever. Let me know if you'd be interested in buying a jar of it!
